Background

Formerly Head of Leadership and Talent at PWC (2000-2009), where he was the driving force behind the creation of an integrated talent strategy and leadership development, he started his career in financial services.  He now focuses on talent and leadership consultancy bringing insights to senior people, Boards and all levels in organisations to encourage a more responsible approach and response to leadership challenges.  Over the last 20 years he has worked with corporate clients such as: HSBC; BBC; Lloyds TSB; Thames Water; Barclays; Unilever; Tear Fund; and extensively within the voluntary sector.  He has considerable international experience including the Far East, Central Asia, mainland Europe, North and South America and Africa.

Coaching experience

Tim has worked with senior partners and leaders around the world in a coaching and facilitation capacity often bringing insights to strategic forums.  He has designed and facilitated large conferences of up to 300 people and has himself spoken at a number of conferences around the world on the subject of talent and leadership.  He recently published his first book on the subject, ‘Monday’s Times’- a modern day allegory of the search for leadership soul in business and has written a new book "The Responsible Leader', which was published in 2014.  

Credentials

Tim has a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Greenwich University and is a fellow of both the Chartered Bankers Institute and the Royal Society of Arts.  He is accredited in numerous coaching and people development techniques including MBTI, Hogan Systems and SIMA.

Examples of recent work 

Designing and running global Responsible Leadership Transitions programmes for a major global bank based in the UK and Asia; designing and running a programme for the top 250 leaders in a major media company; coaching senior leaders in an info comms company; advising on organisational climate and effective leadership in a medium sized charity.
